AJV has been
able to implement its mission statement with great success. Our goal is simply to deliver the most productive and memorable
experience for the students and enrich the musical lives of the
audience. Our focus on educational venues has been the most
successful and is the environment best suited to introduce our youth
to America’s music---JAZZ
AJV focuses the Jazz experience on our youth, because early artistic
impressions can survive for a lifetime. Our programs have
flexibility and could include:
- Renowned Jazz soloists featured with the school’s instrumental and/or vocal ensemble
- Jazz artists/educators who will provide “Hands On” workshops and clinics
- Participation can range from a guest soloist to a full orchestra.
- AJV features the total Jazz experience from Dixieland to contemporary Jazz innovations including improvisation.
- Jazz pedagogy masterclass, seminars and lectures.
